eric a mackay I heard this at the FAI in Kansas City, just a two-piece band and was completely entranced. This whole album is engaging, different music with different rhythms, and approach to Melody. I love this work and it’s been on my repeat playlist the last six weeks and I’m not tired of it yet! Favorite track: Morning Blues.

One of the first 'new troubadours'.
An easy going country sound from Joachim Cooder, who is accompanied by his famous father Ryland.
Being a percussionist primarily there is a playful sound perforating the album.
A twenty year old Ry Cooder was draughted in to act as guitarist and musical director for Captain Beefheart's Safe As Milk album, although he didn't stay long after that. Favorite track: Tell Her To Come Back Home.

Karamogo This is beautiful--simply enchanting music. It is gentle, lovely and engaging.

Magic in its purest form. I love Floating Points, I love Pharoah Sanders, I love The London Symphony Orchestra. It's a match made in heaven, and the result is absolutely gorgeous.
